Zenimax has just announced the new chapter for 2023, The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom. Players will return to Eastern Morrowind, and a new class, the Arcanist, is being added to the game. Read on for Kevin's thoughts on what the studio has revealed so far.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a massive game with a ton of player choice on what content to experience first. Each year Kevin starts a new character to explore Tamriel just one more time. This year join him as he makes his way through Tamriel as a High Elf Nightblade aligned with the Aldmeri Dominion. Part One explores the new player experience on the Isle of Balfiera and his adventures on the island of Khenarthi's Roost.

High on Life is a game developed by Squanch Games. It is a fun romp through a unique world created by Justin Roiland, co-creator of Rick and Morty. So long as players are prepared for the style of humor of Rick and Morty this is an enjoyable experience. It has slick visuals with constantly wise-cracking guns all wrapped up as a decent FPS. Chimeraland, developed by Pixel Soft and published by Level Infinite, launched last month in North America. It is a sandbox MMO that mashes up various systems from monster hunting to survival-style building. While the game feels unpolished, it does have a lot of depth to the gameplay. Earlier this week Grinding Gears Games invited the press to have an early look at the new Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra August expansion. While Kevin was prepared to hear the key details about the Kalandra Challenge League, it ended up covering a lot more than he expected.

The COUGAR LUXLIM low profile optical-mechanical gaming keyboard may be my new favorite peripheral. I have been using it constantly for the past week, and while it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other gaming keyboards, most of those missing features won't impact gaming. Developer Phoenix Labs is shaking up things in their co-op action RPG Dauntless releasing a new update this month to the current Return to Light season. While the game maintains many familiar elements for fans, it incorporates several new features based on prior feedback. Developer Smilegate and publisher Amazon Game Studios launched the first major update patch for the action MMORPG Lost Ark NA version in April.
