A Wing and a Prayer

Hey, you! Have you ever thought about how awesome it would be to ride a dragon? No? Me, neither! That sh*t is terrifying! I remember watching Reign of Fire a lot as a kid, so not only did the idea seem foolhardy, but they also turned Gerard Butler into a pile of cooked man-steak. Whoops, spoiler alert (not really, it came out in 2002).

Quick & Flashy with Great Combat

The success of games like League of Legends, DotA 2, and now SMITE is something all gamers should take notice of. SMITE is the newest prodigal child from HiRez Studios and the upcoming launch and current state of SMITE is nothing short of enjoyable. Featuring a wide selection of aesthetically and mechanically different characters, an easy-to-learn style of gameplay, and a growing population of players and competition; SMITE is well on its way to becoming a major player in the MOBA space.

A Pleasant Surprise

Ultima Online is often credited with introducing us to the concept of a virtual world rife with adventures, but even that has been subject to the test of time. Games have since phased out features in hopes to ‘make it big’ with some innovation they’ve created. Sadly, not many developers take a look at what made the genre great in the past. Fear not though, for Seamless Network Systems saves the day with Fantasy Realm Online!

It Sounded Good on Paper

MOBA games have shown in the past to be evolving creatures. Any idea can be a good idea with the MOBA genre, it seems. Even with the market becoming inundated with titles, it will all eventually stabilize and the best ideas will prosper and evolve. Archeblade attempts to introduce a new concept, an arena where players are the deciding factor. Throwing in a third-person view and flashy visuals and the whole product sounds pretty good… on paper.
