The game is being developed by Project Blue Sky, a team made up of veterans from Bandai Namco Online and Bandai Namco Studio, and it is being built on Unreal Engine 4. The World of Warcraft team has introduced another cash shop mount that can be purchased as part of a 6-month subscription plan or individually. The half-year subscription plus the Sylverian Dreamer mount is $77.94, the equivalent of $12.99 per month. The mount can be purchased separately for $25.00. Players who already have a running 6-month subscription will receive the mount for free sometime in early July.
The Torchlight Frontiers team is hard at work on the next major update to the game. Called "Beast Buddies", the patch will include pet companions. While they've always had helpful abilities to share with their player companion, pets in Torchlight Frontiers will be upping their game. Players will be able to collect a number of pets and swap them out as well as collect pet skills to assign to their companion.

Battle royal is "the" thing these days and many games are including it as a secondary game mode. The latest to do so is World of Warships thanks to the addition of Rogue Wave: Sink Them All. Four teams set sail for a post-apocalyptic "desolation-themed port" with destroyers tailed specifically for this event. Captains take the fight to one another as an "enclosing Wall of Fire forces close-quarters brawls" in an effort to be the last ship...er...sailing.
During a recent press event, Final Fantasy XIV Executive Producer Naoki Yoshida spoke candidly about why the game is not yet on Xbox One. He does not equivocate as he explains that Microsoft has two conditions that prevent porting FFXIV to XB1 with full crossplay capabilities: First, without the ability to chat across platforms, playing an MMO is impossible. Second, players are not allowed to form a guild, link shell or free company, again making MMO play impossible.
Blade & Soul Senior Producer Nico Coutant has penned the game's mid-year update to provide the community with a peek at what's ahead for the second half of 2019. Most notably, Coutant admits that the big Unreal Engine 4 upgrade probably won't be released in 2019 as originally planned. However, a new video showing some of the development progress towards the goal has also been released.

Those who are below the average level on the Top 20 leaderboard will get a spiffy hunting buff to help out when leveling.
