In this episode, hosts Chris Roberts and Sean Tracy spend time talking about "salty seafarers", the Gamescom experience, "off to the Scramble Races and color one's wheels". It's another peek inside the development of one of the most-talked about games currently in the pipeline. Check it out!
During a special live stream event earlier today, the PlanetSide 2 team took to the airwaves to reveal a brand new continent coming to the game called Oshur. Players will find "multiple islands and a variety of biomes". It will require teamwork and strategy to conquer. "The land will best be traversed by aircraft".
Bethesda and Miracle of Sound have released another piece of music coming in Fallout 76. This toe-tapper is by Miracle of Sound and is called "Starting Over". It's hard to believe, but it has been a decade since the release of the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King cinematic trailer, "Arthas". The news came via Neal Acree's Twitter where he wrote, "Almost missed the fact that the Arthas, My Son cinematic was released 10 years ago last week. Still one of my favorites. Did you know that we originally recorded a male tenor for the main melody before opting to use a boy soprano?"
Devolver Digital has revealed that SCUM has now entered Steam Early Access. "SCUM aims to evolve the multiplayer open world survival game with unprecedented levels of character customization, control and progression, where knowledge and skills are the ultimate weapons for long-term survival". The video showcases the game's main features in a fun "tour video" kind of way.
Elite: Dangerous has been updated to bring Beyond - Chapter 3 into the game. The new content comes as a free content expansion for PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One. Players will find "a new ship, a selection of sleek new Guardian Fighters, and some mysterious new Guardian Beacons hidden in the depths of the galaxy".
When Destiny 2: Forsaken launches, it will be without one of the most familiar faces. Cayde-6 has "paid the ultimate price" and "now the hunt is on for the man responsible, Uldren Sov". Players will work to avenge Cayde in "Destiny 2's most transformative experience yet".
There's a lot of eternity going on in Crowfall these days. In the first of a pair of new videos, ArtCraft shows off a look at Crowfall through the eyes of its Eternal Champions. In the second, viewers get a bird's eye view of some of the games "stunners like Srathor's Lawn and the Cities of Ravenheart", to name a pair.
It's hard to believe that it's been six years since the launch of Guild Wars 2, but it has! ArenaNet has posted a brand new retrospective on the game, its development and the minds behind Tyria. Take a look at how far Guild Wars 2's Living World has come and perhaps get a sneak peek at what lies ahead.

The final Warbringers video from World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth has arrived, this time starring Queen Azshara. Many had hoped that her video would provide context for her part in Battle for Azeroth, but have found her origin story instead. This is, however, fascinating as it is the visual confirmation of her servitude to the Old God N'Zoth. What part the two will play in BfA remains to be seen.
The latest Star Citizen: Around the Verse is out and about, this time with a very pithy description that is best left as-is: "Run like hell, FOIP n’ VOIP, the thrilling return of mining improvements, contractual obligation, and 88 keys in this week’s update." See what it's all about with hosts Sandi Gardiner and Chris Roberts and leave us your thoughts in the comments.
When Destiny 2 expands with the Forsaken content expansion later this fall, Guardians will bid farewell to one of the series' most iconic and beloved characters, Cayde-6. In this new trailer shown during Gamescom, viewers get a look at Cayde-6's "Last Stand" and...well, its emotional impact.
