Robin loves RPGs, MMOs, JRPGs, Action, and Adventure games... also puzzle games... and platformers... and exploration games... there are very few games she isn't interested in. When it comes to MMOs she focuses on WoW and GW2 but will pick-up other games as they catch her fancy. She's a habitual returner to FFXIV because that game is an all-around great MMO.

Turn and Face the Strange in World of Warcraft

This past week we’ve seen some interesting updates to 8.3 and, in particular, to how the Horrific Visions of Orgrimmar/Stormwind work. However, the choices made in some of these changes are a bit frustrating in certain respects.

Guild Wars 2 - End of the Beginning Part 7

It’s time once again to pick back up on my replay of the story of Guild Wars 2. Last time I had just finished with the first expansion Heart of Thorns story. Mordremoth had been vanquished but at the cost of also killing Trahearne to prevent the Elder Dragon from taking over his mind. Additionally, during the cutscene at the end of the HoT storyline, we also saw what looked like an explosion of ley magic come out of Mordremoth and spread out into many directions. One of these directions was righ

World of Warcraft - Visions of N'Zoth Concerns

One year and five months after the launch of Battle for Azeroth, we are getting the final major patch of the expansion. On the one hand, it feels like this expansion has just flown by, but on the other, it has at times seemed like it languished. Mainly the arrival of some class fixes, azurite armor updates, and essences felt like they took too long to be implemented and perhaps should have been part of the core systems since the beginning of this expansion. That said, it feels like 8.2 has only been out for a short while. Either way, I’m happy to finally faceoff with N’Zoth and to be one step closer to putting this expansion behind us. However, I do have some concerns.
