Nival is ready to throw scads of in-game gold at Prime World players in a massive give away beginning at 4:00 pm EDT (1:00 pm PDT) today, Monday, February 10th. Every open beta player will automatically receive about 3,000 gold worth about $100 USD just for signing in.
The giveaway is in conjunction with some big changes for beta players, Nival’s #1 priority. More details:
- So, what about $38M? Every player registered before 4pm EST/GMT-5 on Monday, February 10th will automatically receive roughly 3,000g (a value of around $100 USD) that they can spend in the Prime World store. Players must register at http://en.playpw.com or through Steam before the deadline to get in on the giveaway.
- Why are we doing this? In conjunction with the giveaway, we are making a significant and much anticipated change to the game in an event we are calling the “Winter Revolution.” Starting later today, both the Russian and English versions of the game will be combined. This means that both English speaking and Russian players will be able to take advantage of the same features, and will be able to play with one another. Through this transition, we wanted our players to have some gold to take advantage of many new in-game items, including our spaghetti monster and snowboarder skins!
- Why should players care? Well, because it is $38 million of in game gold! But, also players will receive one free exclusive skin for their character as well. In addition, English-speaking players will now see a dramatic reduction in queue times as a new matchmaking system will be teaming up both English and Russian players allowing everyone to get into battle more quickly.
