Sword Art Online is one of those enduring anime series that so many people are familiar with. The best part is that the IP has come out of passive viewing and into the realm of gamers. Sword Art Online: Integral Factor is a new free to play mobile online RPG that brings many of the most familiar aspects of great RPGs to players around the world.
The game takes place during the events from the Sword Art Online storyline, a VR world packed with 10,000 players trapped inside until they can ascend and clear the Aincrad. It is under these conditions that you enter the game as The Protagonist, your very own character. You will become the partner of Koharu, both of you trapped together in a game of life and death.
During gameplay, you will be a member of the Assault Team that is working its way through familiar landscapes including the Merchant District, Origin Plains, Quest Plains and the Teleport Gate Plaza. The goal? Survive to reach to the 100th floor of Aincrad. Along the way, you will run into some familiar faces and experience stories that were never present in the original Sword Art Online. Because of this, your story will play out along lines that you affect yourself! The world truly changes as influenced by your decisions.
As an online RPG, Sword Art Online: Integral Factor will allow you to work cooperatively with others to venture through quests and take on the most powerful monsters that can be imagined. As you do, you will unlock the secrets to forging stronger weapons and you will learn more and more powerful skills with all sorts of effects. All of this will be needed as you take on enemies and learn their patterns in order to more effectively defeat them.
There’s no shortage of activities to participate in outside of the Aincrad. You can check out dungeons, take part in ongoing events, learn more about the lore of the universe and take part in a dazzling array of quests.
As with all great RPGs, Sword Art Online: Integral Factor will bring tons of customization options to its players, both in terms of how they progress and play their Protagonists and in how they look while doing it.
You aren’t going to have to wait long to get started on your free to play journey through Sword Art Online: Integral Factor either. Bandai Namco is offering a sweet package of in-game goodies set to run through May 9th. All users logging in to the game before May 9th will be able to receive 2500 Arcana Gems, a pair of in-game stamps, 4 Star Asuna Skill Records (Attack & Defense boosts), and 4 avatar outfits for you and your partner when you log into the game.
