Starting October 26th, Pokemon Go players will be able to score some Halloween goodies thanks to an in-game event that will run through November 1st. Each new Pokemon will net six candies and trading one in will yield two candies while walking about with one's companion Pokemon will earn four times the usual amount.
To top off the Halloween treats, ghost-type Pokemon will be much easier to catch for the duration.
