Pokemon Go players are being challenged to a new Field Research event that will prominently feature Rock-type Pokemon. Geodude, Lileep and Nosepass will be found more prevalently during the event and several incentives to get hunting will be present throughout the event that ends on June 5th.
For the duration of the event, players will find trekking about with Buddy Pokemon is lucrative with 4x faster Candy acquisition, extra XP at PokeStops or Gyms. If it's the first time a player visits a Gym or Pokestop, players can earn up to 10x XP.
