Pokemon Go, only in release for the last half of 2016, raked in what is estimated to be nearly $950M. The findings were announced via a special paid report at App Annie.
Pokemon Go was released in June 2016 and was downloaded 500M times within a few months. According to a recent interview with Archit Bhargava, the collective group of Pokemon Go players had waked 8.7 billion kilometers in the intervening six months.
The $950M in revenue puts in third place for the year behind Monster Strike and Clash Royale.
