When the XBox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds launches in Australia next week (on December 12th via XBox Game Preview), XBox AU will be throwing out three real life PUBG-themed crates. One will be dropped in Sydney, one in Brisbane and one in Melbourne. The drops will be "live" on Saturday, December 9th.

The crates will contain a number of things including XBox- and PUBG-themed goodies including game codes, XBox One X consoles, controllers, Live codes, PUBG gear and more. Each crate contains 25 items, so it's worth getting there early and getting there fast. No telling if full body tackling is allowed.

XBox ANZ Facebook will provide clues beginning Saturday, as well as a password that has to be given to the staff attending the box in order to claim a prize.

Sounds fun!

Would you go try to claim a prize?
