PUBG Strikes Console Gold with Over 3M Players

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is racking up the accolades, this time for XBox One. PUBG Corp. has announced that over three million players have taken part in the online survival shooter since it launched on XBox Game Preview in December.

The team at PUBG Corp. is determined to continue to improve the in-game experience for PUBG’sgrowing and active community and have already released four updates since the game’s launch in Xbox Game Preview on December 12. You’ll continue to see regular updates roll out for PUBG on Xbox One such as this week’s addition of first-person support for solo, duo and squads gameplay and the team is just getting started, with more updates planned that include additional game optimization and the new “Miramar” map.

For anyone just getting started in PUBG, the team will be holding a special Mixer session with tips and tricks galore. The event will take place at 3:00 pm Pacific / 6:00 pm Eastern on January 16th. You'll learn about inventory management, UX shortcuts and special XBox One features on the controller. "It's part of an ongoing series to help new and existing players jump in and start earning their chicken dinner".
