We found this to be a very impressive news item. It appears that Richard King, the Sound Designer for Pirates of the Burning Sea won an Oscar at the 76th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony that was held on Feb 29, 2004. He won the prestigious award for his work in Master and Commander, and epic film about...the high seas! I guess we can count on the audio in PBS to be second to none!
