Phylon Overview
Phylon was a sci-fi themed 3D MMOFPS from Rapid Reality Studios, and was the sequel to Endless Ages. Players could create a character via Phylon's customization options, then choose to take the side of the Bloblic Imperium, Terran Colonies, or Amphibian Resistance and battle it out for control over the terrain and resources of the planet Anura.
Phylon's combat was via FPS controls, and players could participate in arena PvP. The PvE component made up the initial stages of the game and consisted of typical quests and hunting of an RPG, and leveling up unlocked gear and skills. Upon reaching a certain level, a character's corpse became lootable by other players. Phylon was shut down in August of 2007.
