
Sega's latest NGS Headline for Phantasy Star Online New Genesis revealed plans to celebrate the game's 3rd anniversary with an event titled Halpha's Super Origin Festival.

The latest livestream by the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis team broke down quite a bit of content, giving fans a look at what's to come for the next six months, from now through June.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has officially been out for over a year. During that time, the game has grown in size and scope. SEGA recently released the latest update which introduced the Kvaris region to the game. If you haven't hopped into the game in a while, here's a look at what's new.

Phantasy Star Online 2 has another NieR: Automata collaboration happening on October 13th. The new collaboration packs have several types of cosmetics, such as hairstyle and outfits, Mag evolution devices, weapon skins, and some furnishings.

SEGA announced today that Phantasy Star Online 2 will be releasing new episodic content at the end of the month. Episode 5 will increase the player cap to 90, and add new missions, techniques and photon art levels and new areas to explore.

During the Xbox Game Showcase today, SEGA showed off a trailer of the upcoming expansion for Phantasy Star Online 2, titled 'New Genesis.'

Phantasy Star Online 2 has been out forever in Asian territories, and while we've seen the game show up at PAX and E3 before, no official plans ever solidified to bring SEGA's MMO sequel to North America and the EU. Well, the SEA version from PlayPark just dropped its region restriction AND it has a pretty well-translated English adaptation. No patching required!
