Many fans who ordered their Steelbook or Take Your Heart edition of Persona 5 via Amazon have been in for quite a surprise. The company has sent out letters that indicated usage of dangerous elements in the editions which would require special transportation and cancelled orders for them.


Enough's Enough Already - Atlus Confirms No PC Port

Atlus Public Relations Manager John Hardin has had enough of people asking if Persona 5 will be released on any other platform than PlayStation. In a tersely worded Twitter post, Hardin confirmed that Persona 5 will be released on any other platform than PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 (this also goes for Yakuza).

Persona 5 Pre-Orders Begin, New Story Trailer Released

Atlus has announced that pre-orders of the digital edition of Persona 5 are now available. Those who purchase the game in advance of its April 4th 2017 release will have access to a dynamic theme, special avatars and Persona DLC, Izanagi & Izanagi Picaro Set. Other available options of Persona 5 include: Steelbook Launch Edition runs $59.99 in limited number and the Take Your Heart Premium Edition runs $109.99.


Release Delayed to April 4, 2017

Originally scheduled for release on February 14, 2017, Persona 5 has now been delayed by Atlus. The new release date will be on April 4, 2017 and is in effect for both North America and Europe. Players will get a nice bonus for their wait in a free Japanese voice-over DLC when the game deploys.


Morgana, the Felonious Feline Mascot Gets New Video

With Persona 5 nearing release in February 2017, Atlus is taking the wraps off the major characters in the game by presenting each in a solo starring video introduction. In the latest in the series, Morgana, a Phantom Thief aka the Felonious Feline. Morgana has come from another world and is a professional thief and mentor for the younger Phantom Thieves....and can turn into a bus. We know...best to take a look in the video below.

Atlus has released a brand new game play trailer that introduces one of the characters to be included in Persona 5 when it is released in early 2017. European Release to Join North American on February 14th

Deep Silver and Atlus have announced the European release date for Personna 5. The game is now scheduled for release on February 14th, the same day as the North American deployment. This is great news for European fans that have ordinarily had to wait months to learn when favorite titles might be released by Atlas.

North American Release Announced for February 14th

Atlus has announced that Persona 5 will be launching on February 14, 2017. The 'Take Your Heart' collector's edition was also announced that will come with an art book, the game soundtrack, a Japanese-style Shujin Academy school bag, all contained in a special edition themed box. The CE will retail for $89.99.


New Details Emerge on Story & Characters

GameInformer has a new interview with Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino that reveals some brand new information about the game's characters and stories. In it, Hashino speaks about the main cast, the issues the game will tackle, how the characters will evolve throughout, their connections to their alter-egos, whether any sort of romance may bloom and a special message to American fans waiting for the game.


Delayed to Summer 2016
