Persist Online plunges players into a spooky MMORPG world set amid a zombie apocalypse, demanding both strategy and skill to survive in its vast open world.
The game encourages players to team up to combat zombie hordes and mutated bosses, while also remaining vigilant against other players who might ambush them for their loot. Every structure in this expansive environment can be explored, offering a mix of opportunities and dangers.
Building guilds and controlling key map nodes will be essential tactics for gathering rare resources quickly. Crafting is integral, allowing players to forge and upgrade their gear to stay ahead of the undead. Players will also be able to earn some high-tier loot by defeating powerful enemies.
In a departure from typical MMORPGs, Persist Online replaces magic with a wide array of firearms and melee weapons. Character customization is highly flexible, with no fixed classes, enabling players to develop unique builds with more than 25 skill trees.
Players will also be able to hop on their very own mounts and traverse the large open world alongside friends, or hunt down other players in PvP areas, far from the relative safety of strongholds.
