Path of Exile’s Harvest League is set to begin on June 19, bringing with it a revamp of two-handed weapons and much more.
First up, in case you missed it, you can check out hands-on preview of Harvest League right here. Along with a weapon revamp, Harvest League is set to introduce new crafting, a total of eight new skills, two new support gems, and revamps for Warcry skills, in addition to Brands, Slams, and the Passive Tree. The team also cites a rebalance of over 50 existing items, in addition to an introduction of 12 new uniques.
Part of the Harvest League is the Seed Cache mechanic. You’ll be able to search for the Seed Cache when you visit new areas. You’ll be able to bring the seeds you collect to the Sacred Grove, plant them, and grow monsters. At this point, you can harvest these monsters, defeat them, and grab their lifeforce.
Improvements to the passive skill tree include more support for certain mechanics, like two-handed weapons, and include new skill clusters as well. A few melee skills will be categorized as Slams, along with a new slam skill and support gem.
