Path of Exile 3.9.0 Expansion, Conquerors of the Atlas Launches on December 13th -

The upcoming patch for Path of Exile has a name and release date. Today at ExileCon 2019, developer Grinding Gear Games showed off their upcoming 3.9.0 update, dubbed Conqueror's of the Atlas, and revealed a release date of December 13, 2019.

The new expansion hitting in December brings with it a new endgame storyline, as well as five new endgame bosses. Additionally, the update will add a new type of gem, the Support Gem Plus, which are improvements upon the existing versions of support gems. Essentially a level one Support Gem Plus will be more powerful than the level 20 version of the lesser quality gem.

Also coming with Conqueror's of the Atlas is the new tweaks and balances to Bows and their support gems. Bows are being reworked to improve the weapon as well as getting five new bow-related gems to help.

You can learn more about Conqueror's of the Atlas on the official ExileCon website. Additionally, be sure to catch the livestream this weekend while Path of Exile's first ever convention takes place in Auckland, New Zealand.
