The latest Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen newsletter has been published that provides a wealth of information about what the team has been working on over the past four weeks. Included in the May letter is a look at some of the most recent updates applied to the game including bug fixes and more.


Visionary Realms Secures Series A Funding

Visionary Realms has announced that it has secured a round of Series A funding, indicating that preferred stock has been sold for investment purposes. The additional funding means that the team can expand across nearly every department. In addition, Pantheon will soon be able to begin inviting testers and focus groups in to try a pre-alpha version of the game.


'Ever-Evolving FAQ' Updated

The official FAQ for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen has been updated, according to the team's Facebook page. Calling it an "ever-evolving" document, developers aim to make it as accurate as possible while also reserving the right to alter answers at any given time depending on changes made to the game as it progresses through development.


Race - Class Combo Matrix & Looking for Odd Ones

The Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Facebook page has been updated with a new look at how race-class combinations will work in the game, including such odd ones as Ogre Druids. It's a fascinating look inside how players will have a variety of choices to create the right characters for themselves.

It begins with a nice list of ten seminal moments from 2016 that include new aspects of the game revealed over the course of the year, expanded media coverage throughout 2016, the growth of the team, Twitch streams and more. From there, fans get a first look at the second Dwarven kingdom of Amberfaet.

During the 'Ask Me Anything' event, Mr. McQuaid fielded a number of community questions including the team's vision for the end game, whether or not there will be instanced raids, how Visionary Realms plans to prevent 'early sunset' ala Vanguard, quest hubs, grind, live events, a player-driven economy and much more.

Live Stream Discussion

Visionary Realms will be hosting a special live stream event for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. The stream will take place on Thursday, June 23rd beginning at 6:00 pm Pacific / 9:00 pm Eastern and will feature up to two hours of game play as developers and guests run through Black Dagger Keep and a "surprise dungeon". The event will take place in the Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Twitch.tv channel.
