MMORPG.com:

Pandora Saga recently launched its open beta, how has that been going?

Jeffrey Hong:

We have been really thrilled to see the level of interest from players! We’re getting great feedback from the community on what they would like to see more of in the game, and we’re making some big plans in response.

MMORPG.com:

What are some issues that keep coming up for players in the beta?

Jeffrey Hong:

We’re proud to report that the login issues some users were having with 64-bit operating systems have been resolved. We invite everyone who was unable to log into the game because of this issue to give it another go—the world of Pandora Saga awaits you!

There have of course been the little issues here and there typical to a game still in the beta phase, but thanks to great feedback and patience from our community, those, too, are being ironed out.

MMORPG.com:

Do you see these issues being fixed before launch?

Jeffrey Hong:

The problems experienced by users of 64-bit operating systems have been resolved. The players affected have been incredibly patient, as has the community as a whole. To show our appreciation for them not marching down on our headquarters with torches and pitchforks clenched in hand, we’ll be providing fans who have registered on Atlus Online and Pandora Saga but never actually logged in with three premium tickets.

As for other issues, whatever is left is in the process of being fixed and will not keep Pandora Saga from going into full launch.

MMORPG.com:

How easy is it to make changes to the game when in Beta?

Jeffrey Hong:

It really depends on what needs to be changed. We are also using the beta tests to help us determine how quickly changes can be made so that in the future, we can give players a better time estimate for when issues can be resolved.

The entire team at Atlus Online wants to make sure every single person in our community enjoys the game and that we give them a perfect product. We know, however, that we won’t be able to please every player, and as a live game that will be constantly be updated with new content, there will always be issues keeping Pandora Saga from being a perfect game. We will make changes as quickly as possible though to try to make it happen anyway though!

MMORPG.com:

What are your plans for launch as you get closer to the date?

Jeffrey Hong:

We had collected player feedback from Closed Beta, and we are paying close attention to the feedback from Open Beta. We have various in-game events planned at launch, as well as some content updates. We hope our players will be as excited as we are!

MMORPG.com:

Will players who took part in Beta get any launch rewards?

Jeffrey Hong:

Stay tuned. Pay no attention to the prizes behind me.

MMORPG.com:

When testing the game how do you rank the issues or bugs you find?

Jeffrey Hong:

There is no ranking system for issues and bugs. Every time one is found, our team works with the developer to make sure the identified issues get resolved quickly and swiftly. Some get fixed faster than others. We do our best to make sure every issue gets addressed.

MMORPG.com:

Are there things you have seen players do in Beta that you never expected?

Jeffrey Hong:

The only thing that never ceases to amaze us is how great our community is. They have been great at helping each other in game, letting us know about bugs or issues they have encountered, and very understanding during our beta tests. Perhaps we’re a little biased, but we think we have the best community of players in the MMO space.

MMORPG.com:

How can players get involved in Open Beta?

Jeffrey Hong:

The best thing about Open Beta is that it is – well, open! Players just need to sign up for an Atlus Online account, if they don’t have one already, download Pandora Saga, and then login.
