During last night's Overwatch League, Blizzard's Jeff Kaplan introduced a new limited time event called Retribution. The events portrayed take place 8 years in the past and show Reaper, McCree, Genji and Moira headed off to Venice on a mission against Talon. Of course, Venice is an incoming map and the Talon enemies (Sniper, Assassin and Heavy Assault) are brand new.
In one game mode, players take on Retribution as the four named heroes. In the other, any hero can be chosen. It's likely that all four characters will receive new skins, though only Moira's was shown so far.
Retribution will begin on April 10th and run through April 30th. It will be available alongside the Uprising story event. The Venice map will be a daytime Payload-type map in the regular rotation after testing on the PTR once the event is over.
