Per Hero Progression Removed Prior to Beta Start

Per Hero Progression Removed Prior to Beta Start -

Bill Murphy sent along this tidbit of information straight from Blizzcon: Prior to the commencement of Overwatch beta testing, per-hero progression similar to that found in Heroes of the Storm was removed as it "goes against the idea they want about players being able to swap heroes on the fly."

According to Bill, "They think they've got a really cool way to do player progression, and it should be coming soon to the beta, perhaps in time for the weekend stress tests they plan on doing soon as well."

This came as part of a video interview Bill conducted earlier today that will be on our YouTube channel and imported here to the site shortly. Keep your eyes peeled!

Do you think it was a good idea to remove hero-progression? Leave us your thoughts in the comments!
