Overwatch have a big new patch to explore that brings a new map, a new weekly brawl play mode, and improvements to the Play of the Game feature along with bug fixes and balance updates.
A new escort map called Route 66 has been added, a tribute to a bygone era along one of America's most iconic highways.
Weekly Brawl, similar to its Hearthstone counterpart, will give players a fun new way to experience Overwatch by challenging them to take on a match that features a set of unique and wacky rules taken out of the custom game system.
For example: In one Weekly Brawl, you’ll only be able to play Soldier: 76, while in another Weekly Brawl, a random hero will be selected for you each time you respawn. Other Weekly Brawls will restrict you to Support heroes only, or Tank heroes only, or Defense heroes only—and more!
Lastly, the Play of the Game is being expanded to include four categories: High Score, Lifesaver, Sharpshooter and Shutdown.
