Cheating Players To Be Perma-Banned On First Offense -

Blizzard is making no bones about its stance against the cheaters in Overwatch. According to a new post on forums, any players found using hacks, bots or third-party software will be permanently banned on their first offense, no warnings given.

Not only does cheating undermine the spirit of fair play that all of our products are based on, but it works to diminish the fun and enjoyment of others. While we are unlikely to publicly acknowledge when accounts are closed as a result of cheating or using unauthorized programs, we have and will continue to monitor Overwatch for exploitative behavior, as well as take action as needed to preserve the integrity of game.

You can read the full post on forums.

In other Overwatch news, the next animated short will be released tomorrow and will take a look at backstory of Shimada brothers, Hanzo and Genji. Called Dragons, the video will premiere on the Overwatch site at 10 am Pacific / 1 pm Eastern.
