Blizzard Reportedly Suing Bot Maker Bossland -

According to, Blizzard has filed a lawsuit in California against Bossland, the creator of an Overwatch cheat tool called Watchover Tyrant that allows users to see opponents' stats and locations. The lawsuit cites copyright infringement and unfair competition.

This is not the first time that Blizzard has taken on Bossland that also makes cheat programs for World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm and Diablo 3.

Defendants' sale and distribution of the Bossland Hacks in the United States has caused Blizzard to lose millions or tens of millions of dollars in revenue, and to suffer irreparable damage to its goodwill and reputation.

Moreover, by releasing 'Overwatch Cheat' just days after the release of Overwatch, Defendantare attempting to destroy or irreparably harm that game before it even has a chance to fully flourish."
