Beefy New Update to be Released on January 17th

Orcs Must Die! Unchained will be getting a hefty update on Tuesday, January 17th. A trio of new battlegrounds are incoming for high-end players as well as a new leaderboard display during the fight on each map. Players will also receive three daily quests, one for experience, one for a chest and one for skulls. The store will feature rotating goods each day, three different bundles of cards, with six on Sundays. Bundles can be purchased with in-game currency (skulls).


OMDU: Orcs Must Die Returns to its Roots

Orcs Must Die Unchained was once a MOBA-like game. That's no more, as of today. Now OMDU plays a lot more like its original incarnations - a 3rd person Action RPG Tower Defense.


Open Beta Updated with Huge System Overhauls

Orcs Must Die! Unchained has been updated with the open beta v1.6 patch. In it, several large systems have been overhauled including the UI, visual effect, all heroes updated and upgrades to physics traps. In addition, new battlegrounds have been added as well as 'classic' maps have been reworked.


Extra Life Stream to Preview Massive Forthcoming Update

Robot Entertainment devs will be on hand this Friday to support Extra Life and to show off a massive v1.6 update to Orcs Must Die! Unchained. The team will be supporting a local Dallas children's hospital during the event that will kick off at 4:00 pm Pacific / 7:00 pm Eastern on Friday, November 18th. Players will get a look at the new and improved OMDU that features better prepared heroes, squishier minions, new map structures and a brand new starter experience.

No More Bloated & Unwieldy Crafting

The Orcs Must Die! Unchained team has heard the community loud and clear. With the latest open beta update, crafting has been simplified to reduce "bloating and unwieldy" crafting systems. Materials have undergone the most drastic change with may being retired. Players holding retiring materials will see them upgraded to a material that will remain in the game.

It gave the player endless resources to defend their tower against hordes of Orcs and their minions. One of the most fun features was the trap system which allowed players to set up a bitter end for their orcish foes. Now the game is shifting into a brand new hybrid design called Orcs Must Die Unchained and it hits Open Beta today.
