No Man’s Sky’s latest free update, Beyond, will release on August 14, bringing with VR support with it.
Beyond is set to combine three updates into one when it releases in just two weeks’ time. Per Sean Murray,
“These changes are a mix of features we’ve been dreaming of for a while, and a reaction to how we have seen folks playing since the release of NEXT. An expanded Online experience will bring a radical new social and multiplayer experience which empowers players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together.”
VR support is being added to the entire game. You’ll be able to fly around with your jetpack, reach for your backpack, and fly your ship all in VR. You’ll even be able to wave to that guy over there.
