ZergID - Social Network for MMO Players Hits Beta

It's no secret MMO players generally feel their needs are unmet - because of this, Alex Albrecht (former G4 host) and Scott Katz (former co-founder of Maker Studios) have created ZergID.

“We both have played MMORPGs for years -- and suffered all the frustrations associated with trying to find and communicate with our gamer friends – especially after we had shifted to a new game,” Albrecht explains.  “Our goal is to create a social network that targets the specific needs of MMORPG players, like us.”

With that in mind, ZergID aims to help players:

  • Reconnect with people they once played with
  • Better organize guilds/friends
  • Schedule play sessions
  • Send push notifications to raid flake-outs
  • Connect with other MMO players
ZergID is now in public beta - to sign up for this MMO-centric social network, visit the official ZergID website.
