Football Manager Live Review
In the latest review, Adam Tingle takes a look at Football Manager Live. For we Yanks, that means soccer and as Adam so well points out, Europeans do love their soccer, their 'football'. Adam takes a comprehensive look at the game and offers his opinion of what's right and what might need some work.

Football Manager Live has some great aspects of gameplay and certainly is a huge leap forward for the possibilities of sports MMOs. The only issue here is just how long a player can really keep coming back to this game on a week-by-week basis. The league system is as involving as the player decides and the only real concern here is that for the more hardcore FM players, it just doesn't quite capture the single player experience.

If you are looking for a sports themed MMO look no further than FM Live. For a cheap subscription price and some enjoyable and entertaining management style gameplay, this is surely your best bet.

Guild Wars 2: Dungeon Running Differently
In his latest Guild Wars 2 article,'s Community Manager, Michael Bitton, takes a look at the dungeons in Guild Wars 2. Mike starts the discussion by stating that he didn't really expect the dungeon system to see major changes from GW1 to GW2 but after reading an article in PC Gamer, Mike has been pleasantly surprised to see that dungeons will be receiving love too.

Guild Wars 2 features an overarching storyline involving the rise of the Elder Dragons and the need for the player to reconcile Destiny's Edge, the game's signature heroes (who have split apart,) in order to defeat them. This storyline mainly manifests in players' "personal storyline", which is typically instanced away. However, the game's dungeons (one for every 10 levels, more at endgame) will all feature a "Story Mode", which provides a bit more of a directed story experience that centers on at least one of the members of Destiny's Edge (who will accompany you and fight by your side). Instead of just tossing players into a labyrinthine maze populated with boss encounters, each dungeon will serve to expose the player to the game's overarching storyline, at least for the first run through.

This week's Game of the Week is Bioware's upcoming MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and why not? After all, the upcoming Star Wars MMO (the second, historically), is one of the most talked about upcoming games not only within the MMO genre, but in all of gaming.

With Bioware's reputation as a first class developer of single player RPGs, many video gamers find themselves wondering how the company will handle the challenge presented in the realm of multiplayer games.

With more and more information being leaked out about this game all the time, the opinions are coming in from all sides with players weighing in. Some would like to see the game more closely resemble the sandbox style of the original Star Wars Galaxies while others are looking forward to a near perfect continuation of Bioware's success with their previous Knights of the Old Republic title.

As information leans us more toward the latter than the former, it will be interesting to see what players think as this game comes closer and closer to launch.
