Featured Article: The Top Five MMOs That Never Were Managing Editor Jon Wood counts down the top five games to be canceled in mid development, never to see the light of day.

Everyone that follows MMORPGs can probably list a handful of games that have died an ignoble post-launch death, but what about the games that just didn't make it? We followed these games that, for whatever reason, never made it to release. Some had their licenses moved on to other companies, some are pipe dreams of franchise fans and some just faded into obscurity, never to be heard from again.

Today, trapped in a sadistic bout of nostalgia, we take a look at what we consider to be the Top 5 of these games. Highly anticipated by their fans and yet left squarely on the design room floors

On-Site: Age of Conan Developer Blog
The team of Funcom's Age of Conan have updated their official blog with an introduction to the producer for Age of Conan's Live Team, Henning Soldberg.

Famine: Some may not know what a Producer of the Live Team actually does. Can you tell us what your position entails?

The producer in general is the team leader of the project. The specific responsibilities tend to vary from studio to studio, and from project to project. My current role entails a number of various things with the project by: Planning, organizing, setting overall priorities, staffing, and etc. With that said, the most important task of a producer is to enable each and every team member to do their jobs as efficiently and smoothly as possible. The team makes the game, the producer helps make it happen!

This week's Game of the Week is Huxley.

Huxley is one of several upcoming titles billed as a true MMO First Person Shooter. We had the opportunity to look at several MMOFPS's which are currently in development, and of those Huxley was a clear standout.

The game takes place in a post apocalyptic future (a common theme in the developing MMOFPS genre) where the remnants of the human race, the Sapiens and the mutated Alternatives, fight for dominance.

We recently took a look at Huxley with a few screenshots that were provided at GDC.
