Featured Article: City of Heroes Septermber Overview City of Heroes Correspondent Michael Mcnutt writes this overview of the most recent happenings in the world of City of Heroes / City of Villains including some tips for Issue 12 and a look ahead at Issue 13.

Also included in Issue 13 is the ability to give your character a day job. Now when players log out of City of Heroes /Villains they're just getting started! A character's day job is determined by the actual in-game location from which he or she logs out. If players log out from a University their day job is considered to be a Scholar. If they log out from City Hall they're a City Official. The benefits are thematically appropriate to the location. For example: City Officials earns extra Influence, Scholars are granted Salvage, Caregivers are granted Health Regeneration Buffs, etc.

Warhammer Online Launch Coverage

The much anticipated Warahher Online: Age of Reckoning launched last week, and was there to to give you full coverage. Managing Editor Jon Wood asked if WAR is worth it in a preview of the game based on his experiences in the Beta and during the head start. We Also ran two interviews where we picked the brains of Josh Drescher and Jeff Hickman.

Ok, so maybe my pirate isn't as good as some might like, but this past week saw the coming and going of International Talk Like a Pirate Day. September 19th was the official date for the silly holiday, but it's a little known fact that the nautical MMO Pirates of the Burning Sea is actually the official game of the seven-year-old faux holiday.
