In an announcement sure to surprise most in the Guild Wars 2 community, ArenaNet's Colin Johanson has announced that he is leaving his position as Game Director and the company itself. Mike O'Brien posted the news on the Guild Wars 2 Reddit and announced that he will be taking over as Game Director. He will be on hand for an 'ask me anything' event that has just started.

Fans of No Man's Sky will be happy to hear that both the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game will be released on June 21st. There are a pair of preorder packages available: a $60 version and a $150 Explorer's Edition, a physical edition sold only through iam8bit that comes with a metal space ship, a mystery item, an enamel pin and a "diorama display backdrop".

Crate Entertainment has finally released Grim Dawn, no small feat for an independent development studio that crowd-funded before crowd-funding was a big deal. With the game's release, fans of darkly themed ARPGs with deep levels of class customization and visceral combat tied to a great story have gotten at long last the "spiritual successor" to Diablo 2 that fans have been pining about for years.

Black Desert Online is refreshing. While there've definitely been bumps along the way, the game is finally hitting western shores with the head start for pre-orders currently ongoing. We've been playing since last week, after dabbling in the beta tests, and are finding the non-conformist way the game unfolds before you to be a very nice change of pace from the usual MMORPG fare. While we're still weeks away from officially scoring Pearl Abyss and Daum Games' MMO, read on for our first thoughts in our review in progress.
