Just days after the launch of Defiance 2050, it appears that Trion Worlds is undergoing a round of layoffs that includes some big names including ArcheAge Associate Producer Seraphina Brennan and QA member Jessica Pate. In another, but seemingly unrelated, departure, AA's community manager Joe Brogno has left for "a whole new adventure". We have received the official word from CEO Scott Hartsman. Now that we are in the lead up to Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard has announced that all content through Legion is available without actually having to purchase the game. You will still need to, however, maintain a subscription to access all that content. In addition, and if you wish to take part in the Battle for Azeroth content, you will need to purchase the expansion.

It's not been a good year for brand spanking new games in the MMORPG realm. Heck, when was the last time it was? But that doesn't mean the games we already have haven't been making a strong showing. Hello Games has released a brand new trailer to show off a plethora of new and improved features coming to No Man's Sky with the NEXT update that will launch next week. Viewers will get a look at the brand new multiplayer feature, as well as the first- and third-person flight options. The video also shows off the retooled GFX.

Games have evolved, mechanics have been created, and graphics will continue to get better. Game theory remains the same. Dark Age of Camelot was an MMO that sometimes gets overshadowed by Everquest and World of Warcraft. It was made on the East Coast, which for video games is rare. World of Warcraft is one of the premier subscription MMORPGs, and has helped spread the entire genre into mass markets across the globe. Players enter the world of Azeroth, a fantasy realm of swords and sorcery, exotic races, mystical creatures, world turmoil, high adventure, and war. Created by Blizzard Entertainment, and based on the Warcraft series of RTS games first released in the mid 1990s, WoW expanded on the early Warcraft single player franchise and is now a vibrant multiplayer world, where players may engage in roleplaying, PvE, PvP, dungeon instances, battlegrounds, arenas, and raids. WoW has received five different expansions so far, including The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria, and Warlords of Draenor, with Legion expected out in late 2016.
