En Masse Entertainment has announced that the open beta for Kritika Online is now open. To celebrate, the team will be on hand beginning at 1:00 pm Pacific / 4:00 pm Eastern in the Kritika Online stream channel to give a behind-the-scenes look at the game. In game, players will be able to take part in activities and events to celebrate the open beta.

Funcom has announced that Secret World Legends has officially launched worldwide for PC users. It is a fully F2P game with an in-game item shop that is a "reimagined and reborn" version of the company's MMO, The Secret World. The core game play has been overhauled to make it more accessible to players with a more intuitive progression system, a better quest flow, a revamped combat system and much more.

Stormblood is the second expansion for Final Fantasy XIV and follows 2015's Heavensward. Boasting a new adventure across two continents, new jobs, dungeons and gear, the latest instalment promises to build upon one the ongoing legacy of the most successful MMOs in recent years. Set just after The Far Edge of Fate, the last patch, the Warrior of the Light and their Eorzean allies embark on a journey to the arid nation of Ala Mhigo, and to the before-unseen continent of Othard.

The Diablo 3 add-on, Rise of the Necromancer, is now live in North America. EU players will see the new update go live at approximately 11:00 pm CEST. The Rise of the Necromancer DLC features new zones, updates to Challenge Rifts and, of course, the new Necromancer class.

It's been over three years since I last built a gaming PC. At the time, my Angry Caretaker devoured every MMO on the market, delivering outstanding performance in World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I even splashed out for a new-fangled SSD, blessing my favourite games with ultra-fast load times.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is Square Enix's latest online installment in the legendary Final Fantasy series. Players enter the land of Hydaelyn to adventure in the regions of Eorzea, and can switch between four distinct classes and 18 sub-specializations by equipping different weapons. The PC game was originally released in September of 2010, but was brought back into development for a full overhaul and will relaunch alongside the PS3 version in 2013.
