Dragon's Prophet: Review
Dragon's Prophet has been on our radar for some time coming from Sony Online Entertainment and Runewaker. We've been chronicling our adventures in Dragon's Prophet for a few weeks and now have our final and official review to offer.

Let me get two things out of the way, before we go into the scoring process. One is that I like Dragon's Prophet. There are a lot of great ideas here that need some more time to marinate, and I believe that overall Runewaker has crafted a game that has far more potential to be something interesting than Runes of Magic ever was. But that doesn't mean I can excuse its faults. And number two is that "Open Beta" is just a marketing ploy aimed at giving the a stream of revenue while they continue to refine the product. There's nothing wrong with this, really.

FireFall: The Miracle Patch?
Red 5 is ready to unleash a patch of massive proportion in preparation for next week's Firefall open beta launch. Is it enough to make the game a great one? Find out what we think in this exclusive article and preview.

One of Firefall's biggest hurdles is that, despite being a traditionally-controlled shooter, everything else about this MMO is different from other games in its chosen genre. Everything from progression to the crafting, the mission system to unlocking regions of the map... it's all done a bit different than anyone is used to. And throughout the several years I've been participating in Firefall's beta, I've watched its tutorial go from one end of the spectrum to the other. Finally, just a couple of weeks before its big "launch", the team's nailed the art of easing players into the game. I'd highly suggest starting anew if you've been away for awhile, because so much has changed in recent months.

Game of the Week
Neverwinter is an upcoming free-to-play MMO from the combined team of Cryptic Studios, Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, and Perfect World. It will put players into the heart of Neverwinter, one of the most infamous cities in Dungeons & Dragons lore.

Set 100 years after the Spellplague, and after the volcanic eruption that destroyed the city, Neverwinter is slowly restoring its former glory. But in the deep, dark places in and under the city, evil forces are seeking ways to keep Neverwinter from that goal, by any and all means possible. Players will need to once again answer the call for heroes to help save the city!
