Mortal Online: Review
Mortal Online recently began offering a free-to-play option for interested players. We wanted to see how the F2P version stacked up. See what we discovered and then let us know what you think in the comments.

Mortal Online has been gorgeously crafted, with every inch of detail taken care of. As expected the Unreal Engine provides great scope for Star Vault to do what they wish. Vast expanses and huge cities are all well-crafted, resembling medieval townships or capital cities, as they should. The use of lighting in MO is something that caught my attention with the aesthetics of the game. Light blooms, refracts and reflects beautifully off of appropriate objects and buildings, adding atmosphere and immersion to the experience. But this isn't without its flaws.

ArcheAge: Jake Song On Teaming with Trion
The news that XLGames has signed a Western publishing agreement with Trion Worlds has sent tingles down many spines today. We had the privilege to speak with Jake Song, Jake Song, President and CEO of XLGames to find out more about the deal. Check out our exclusive interview with Mr. Song and then add your joyful noise to the comments.

XLGAMES has been looking for the right publisher to service ArcheAge in the West for quite a long time. The reason we decided to work with Trion Worlds is because we felt that it is a company setting new standards for gaming, by embracing original, high-quality IPs on a dynamic connected platform. We were also impressed with Trion's track record as they have consistently delivered against an unwavering vision; we are confident partnering with Trion will help ArcheAge become a successful game that satisfies audiences in both East and West.

Game of the Week
ArcheAge is an upcoming MMORPG in development by Korean company XLGames. Players enter a fantasy world and start play on one of two continents: Nuia (Elves), and Harihara (Ferres). From there, everything else is up to you, from what character you play, to where you go, and why.

ArcheAge promises to remove the restrictions that have hampered former MMORPGs, especially concerning character classes and skills. Go where you will, do what you want, be the character you want to be.
