Elder Scrolls Online players have a lot of excellent new content to look forward to when the Thieves Guild DLC rolls out later this year. To get players excited about it, devs have released some teaser information. Players will be able to join the legendary Thieves Guild for the first time in ESO's history, with much of the action taking place in a new zone called Hew's Bane. Like Orsinium, the location will be open to all character levels. The Thieves Guild is located in Abah's Landing on the southern end of Hammerfell.

Blizzard has finally revealed the next two characters that will enter Heroes of the Storm in the near future. The female Wizard from Diablo 3 and the Male Necromancer from Diablo 2 will be the next two heroes. The Wizard is the final character from D3, though the Necro is the first of the D2 characters leading to speculation that the rest of the crew (Amazon, Assassin, male Barbarian, Druid, Paladin and Sorceress) may also be added over time.

This past week we got a solid look at Blade & Soul from NC Soft. The game launches on January 19th, 2016 here is North America and many of you may have been playing in the betas. Blade & Soul has had great success in Korea, China, and Japan over the last few years and continues to draw fans with its heavy action combat style of play. The team also has a very aggressive post launch schedule for 2016 which we will go into below.

John Smedley is ready to reveal what he's been up to for the past several months after leaving Daybreak Game Company last summer. He has formed a new studio called Pixelmage Games that is already hard at work on Hero's Song, a 2D pixel art action RPG. Pixelmage has already raised over $1M in private investor funding and is hoping to raise an additional $800,000 via a KickStarter campaign to complete development on Hero's Song.

If you have not read the news today, then it's time to catch up on Hero's Song. The first game from John Smedley's new team is launching on Kickstarter this morning. This new open world MMORPG can be played in multiple ways. You can actually go through the game single player, host your own server, and play with thousands of others in a sandbox game. John said he always wanted a game like this and now fans are in for a treat.

Blade & Soul is a martial arts fantasy MMORPG currently in development by NCsoft and its Team Bloodlust division. The game will have stylized art and character designs by famed artist Hyung-tae Kim, and will feature lush environments and gameplay that borrows elements from fighting games, platformers, and even tosses in a few puzzles. With some of the most action-oriented combat in the genre and intensely competitive PVP, B&S is bound to have more than a few fans.
