The WarZ: Review
The War Z is a game that is known to many in the MMO-space, more for its notoriety than for its gameplay. We aim to change that in our latest review. We've put The War Z through its paces and have a lot to say about the game. See what we think before leaving your ideas in the comments.

Unfortunately, The War Z offers up nothing more than a painfully executed parody of what a survival game should be. It attempts to ride the waves of success that popular ArmA II mod, DayZ has had but instead seems to take its shortcomings and amplify them into an experience that is dull at its best and frustrating at its worst.

WildStar: The Arkship's Wicked Weekend
Last weekend marked an important turn in the development of WildStar as the team continued revealing more about the game and asked for player input. We had boots on the ground during Arkship 2013 and have a full report. Keep reading and then leave your thoughts in the comments.

There will be no coddling, no hand holding, no ring through the nose leading of players from one zone to the next. Carbine is going out of its way to erase all such notions from its fans' minds. We've often heard the statement "play the game your way" but most game makers touting such things rarely make good on the comment. Not so of Carbine. From my experience with WildStar, there is great truth to the promise the dev team has made.

Game of the Week
WildStar is an upcoming sci-fi MMORPG with a stylized cartoon-ish look currently in development by NCSoft's Southen California-based Carbine Studios. Play will be set on the newly discovered planet of Nexus, once home to the technologically advanced race called the Eldan. Long ago, they mysteriously vanished.

Now that the planet has been rediscovered, Explorers, Soldiers, Scientists, and Settlers are coming here from across the galaxy in search of adventure, fortune, and possibly the dark secrets of the Eldan. Stay tuned for more information!
