The Wild West Online forum has been updated with a new post that revises the development roadmap going forward. The biggest nugget of information concerns the release date for WWO. "Over the course of the last few months and reading all the feedback from our community members, we realized the game needed more to meet your expectations". With that in mind, the release has been moved back to "late winter 2018".

The Elder Scrolls Online site has a new post that takes a look back at a big 2017 and provides players and fans with a sneak peek at 2018. First off the bat will be a big new DLC coming to the game called Dragon Bones. The new content will include quality of life improvements and "one long-awaited feature that everyone who cares about their characters' appearance will love". It is themed around the Nord and will feature a pair of new dungeons designed to expand the region's lore.

It hasn't been a great year for NEW games in the MMO genre. But it sure was a pretty great year for veteran MMOs. So while we look forward to the crop of big Indie releases in 2018 and 2019, let's look back at 2017 and count our blessings for the games that keep on pumping out great content. These were voted on by all staff, single vote only, and no ties were allowed. Some were close, but a winner was chosen in each category! Here is's Best of 2017 Awards.

Roberts Space Industries seems to be ramping up for another free weekend and perhaps more news about when 3.0 and / or Squadron 42 might be prepping for testing or...more? Regardless, IGN has posted a brand new video showing Mark Hamill's character, Old Man Colton, in game interacting with a player.

During last month's Blizzcon, we have been pondering the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth expansion announcement. Several new features were revealed, however, none of the new systems came with much attendant detail. From our view, the rushed feel of the Battle for Azeroth announcement suggests that this was not exactly what Blizzard wanted to reveal during Blizzcon.
