The Diablo forums have a new post from the team that reminds fans and the community that more Diablo announcements will be coming in 2019. The post further reminds everyone about "multiple Diablo projects" in the works. Read the full post after the jump.

EA and BioWare have announced that the first closed alpha test for Anthem will take place on December 8th and December 9th. The event is designed for players to help developers "adjust things like matchmaking" and that players need to be aware that changes, such as server load, may occur "on the fly". As a result the alpha event is "more limited than what we want to share in the pre-launch demos".

Today marks the end of the rocky life of WildStar. After failing to live up to lofty expectations over the years. Carbine Studios announced in September that the game would be shut down and that the studio would be closing. Since the announcement, players have been able to enjoy the full game without restriction and with a number of in-game events firing off for the last time. In addition, Carbine provided fans a look at the content that was never released as part of a bittersweet farewell.

Blizzard is getting prepared to launch v8.1 "Tides of Vengeance" into World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. While players will find a lot of content in the first part of 8.1, many may also be expecting the usual raids, dungeons, higher iLevel loot and more, they may be disappointed to find that many of the "big ticket" items from 8.1 won't actually be launching on December 11th.
