The latest Founders' Update has been published on the Crowfall site to provide folks with a bit more information about the forthcoming introduction of the game's premium currency. Called "Crowns", the currency will be available starting at $5 for 500 Crowns and discounts for larger purchases. These funds can be used in the in-game shop, with no item costing over $200. All items currently at the $200+ mark will be retired at the end of 2017.

ORIGINAL: In a new twist in the always entertaining Star Citizen drama, Crytek has filed paperwork in California's Central District Court alleging that Cloud Imperium Games and Roberts Space Industries have infringed on its copyright by using CryEngine to create non-Star Citizen assets for use in Squadron 42.

This week, Dreadnought left dry dock and warped onto Playstation 4. This is where and's co-op aficionados Matt and Dame took it out for a spin. Studio Wildcard has sent word that ARK: Survival Evolved will be updated today with the Aberration content expansion. Players will have a new underground biome to explore that is packed with new flora and fauna. There are new creatures to tame including a "chameleon like" Rock Drake. There are 50+ new items to craft and new challenges to defeat.

Forget Destiny 2, there's a new (old?) loot shooter king in town and it's Tom Clancy's The Division. It's been a slow burn and a tumultuous journey for The Division, but Ubisoft seems to have finally been able to realize the game's potential with the game's latest (and massive) free update, patch 1.8.

The Division developed by Ubisoft Massive and published by Ubisoft takes place after a pandemic hits New York City in which one by one everything begins to fall. Society is collapsing and it's up to The Division, known as a unit of self-supported tactical agents to try and cure the virus.
