Star Wars: The Old Republic: Rise of the Hutt Cartel Review
Rise of the Hutt Cartel is the first digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Is this the expansion you're looking for? Find out in our official review!

Priced at $10 (or $20 for non-subscribers), Rise of the Hutt Cartel adds two new main story arcs, one for each of the game's two factions, that both center on the massive new planet of Makeb. The expansion also adds Achievements, new Macrobinocular and Seeker Droid missions, a new Operation, and of course, the requisite level cap bump (complete with new abilities and revamped talent trees) to level 55. There are a couple of other smaller additions, but this is mainly what you're getting for your $10 (or $20).

Neverwinter: Open Beta Launch Interview
Today marks a seminal point in Neverwinter's development as the open beta, or "soft launch", begins with Founders checking into the game. We managed to corner Lead Designer Zeke Sparkes to find out what players can expect in the open beta.

A lot of the content will remain. We wanted to make sure that the community of authors was able to get us a nice head start. A lot of the stuff you saw in the beta builds will be there. We may even have a little bit more as well. There might be one or two that are a bit different from beta. We have a nice helping of content in the Foundry. And then more and more as people get building.

Game of the Week
Neverwinter is an upcoming free-to-play MMO from the combined team of Cryptic Studios, Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, and Perfect World. It will put players into the heart of Neverwinter, one of the most infamous cities in Dungeons & Dragons lore.

Set 100 years after the Spellplague, and after the volcanic eruption that destroyed the city, Neverwinter is slowly restoring its former glory. But in the deep, dark places in and under the city, evil forces are seeking ways to keep Neverwinter from that goal, by any and all means possible. Players will need to once again answer the call for heroes to help save the city!
