The latest Zy Universe developer blog has been posted on the site, a lore piece designed to reveal the origins of the planet Zaixing, a name that in Mandarin Chinese means "disaster". According to the team, this fits the background of the overarching story. The goal of the piece and of all future lore articles, is to provide players with immersion extending beyond gameplay.
Zy Universe is a 2D sci-fi, action-adventure RPG tied with traditional Metroidvania and hack-n-slash elements. This gaming experience is designed to provide an immersive storyline, classless gameplay, end-game content, character progression and loads of loot. Zy Universe is fueled by our passion for gaming and our love for this art form.
