It’s almost time for the next chapter for Proxies in New Eridu, as Zenless Zone Zero’s version 1.2, “Tour de Inferno” will be out on September 25th.
HoYoverse announced details on the update, which will add a new story chapter and a new zone, the New Eridu Outer Ring. This area is more of a barren area that is located somewhere outside downtown. The area has a lot of fuel resources and its desolation is accompanied by some very tense situations between different factions in the area. You'll learn more fast.
In 1.2, you’ll get to take to motorcycles with members of the Sons of Calydon, Caesar, Burnice, and others. They operate a logistics company and they transport resources. As you work with them, you’ll face a potential showdown with their rival group, The Vanquishers, and Overlord Pompey. Caesar and Burnice will become playable characters and you can explore New Eridu with them.
Caesar is an S-Rank physical defense agent and Burnice is an S-Rank fire anomaly agent. As someone with “burn” in her name, She can do a ton of fire damage and accumulate anomaly build up to burn additional enemies using flamethrowers. Another playable character will be Bangboo Red Moccus, also S-Rank, and with a custom motorcycle.
HoYoverse is also including a number of new optimizations in this update. Some of the changes include being able to automatically acquire all observation data and rewards on the TV board using FAIRY. The TV board also gets improved animations and it will be faster. in chapter 4, you'll be able to present your lineups for combat and switch time freely and you'll get a backup battery charge to make sure you have more stamina ready.
Also in the update will be some events, including a new time-limited arcade minigame, and prizes.
