VR MMORPG Zenith: The Last City, will get its next major update, Might and Mastery, tomorrow, October 10th, on the same day Zenith launches on Meta Quest 3. The update features major overhauls to the skill progression system, godstones, More build options and visual progression, a new leaderboard system, and improvements to the early game in Skyland.
After a beta test and a load test last Friday, the Ramen VR team has determined that they're ready to load up the brand new update to everyone tomorrow. Of the biggest changes in this update is the skill progression system with redone skill trees that make the process of leveling into a visual process that you can see by looking at it, in addition to add a new ability options and the ability to explore them before you lock in a choice. any God stones that might compete for a particular slot in the new skill trees will let you decide which path you want to go on with each option having a different path.
Each ability you can learn will have its own branches and nodes and this will be a visual system where you can look and see where you are and where you might want to go with your character build. All existing characters will be converted to the new system and when you log in after the update goes live, you will be able to assign points in the skill trees. and you can make decisions based on the new options as well.
Early game Skyland options get an overhaul as well, and Skyland gets the game's first leaderboards. Changes, such as making the Lake Ruins boss into a public event, are also here. There's also a new main story quest to take on, updated crafting area in the Skylands base camp, and more to explore.
