With today’s launch of the PlayStation VR2, several games are getting free updates to make them compatible with the new platform. One of these, is Zenith: The Last City, which is also preparing for its next major update. For now, though, Sony has a preview tied to the PSVR 2 launch, including a launch trailer.
In a feature on the PlayStation blog, the anime-inspired VR MMORPG It's a launch trailer and some details on what to expect if you play it on Playstation VR2. If you've been playing Zenith on any other platform, you'll already be familiar with some of these, but the PSVR 2 launch has a few tricks up its sleeve too.
The blog highlights several features, including headset haptics, eye tracking, and the support for PS VR2 Sense controller haptics. Eye tracking helps you stay focused and play in the immersive MMORPG environment. The headset haptics are designed to rumble in response to things going on in the game. Maybe you have critically low health and you need to know that so you can get some help. Maybe you just want to feel the effects of soaring around. That’s there too.
Support for PS VR2 Sense controller haptics also get a highlight, with a few of these features getting short clips to demonstrate. The controller haptics are designed to let you feel the power of the strikes you unleash and even other elements outside battle. Another highlighted feature of the PlayStation VR to support is faster loading time. Sony is touting two to five times faster loading than other platforms.

Zenith: The Last City has been out for over a year and has been growing since launch. With new features and systems added, and on the way. Major update 1.3 will add the Cyber Ninja class, expand crafting, add more pets and more. The Ramen VR team has said that that patch will be out after the PSVR 2 launch, but there’s still no date for when we can expect it just yet.
