Zenith: Infinite Realms has just gotten its first mid-season update. Ramen VR is adding new content to its recently-released co-op session-based game, along with new cosmetics, feature updates, and fixes.
New content comes in the form of three new daily Pandowl Gate layouts and two Adventure Gate Forest layouts. There are also two new potential mini bosses you might encounter behind that Pandowl Gate. There's a new Leaderboard on the daily session gates and the main session and Boss Rush leaderboards have new title rewards to earn.
The team updates several features here too, with Boss Rush and Adventure run modes getting swapped placements, and the item comparison UI also adjusted. Some updated tooltips were added to help players better get a handle on the controls and new text signs were added above the city gates to get them oriented.
Since this is a free to play game with cosmetics, the cosmetics store is now enabled on Steam, and there are some new cosmetics to peruse. The Toxic Alchemist and Berserk Mecha sets are now available in the shop.
Ramen VR also addressed a number of issues and responded to feedback. In addition to some stability fixes, they fixed a number of memory leaks and a crash issue. There were also fixes for visual errors, incorrect icons, missing info when you hover over cosmetic items, and some armor being invisible.
Overall, the team’s focus has been on Infinite Realms, which makes sense, since it did just launch and is intended to help Ramen VR with revenue and keep the company going, but there is a mention of Zenith: The Last City in the patch notes, mostly about known issues, though, like lighting bugs and a bug that inverts controls.
