Nintendo has announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity set 100 years before Breath of the Wild.
As is expected of a Warriors game, it’ll be a hack and slash action game and will arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 20. The video below details the game’s story which will allow you to play through Hyrule before the Calamity which occurred setting up Breath of the Wild.
You’ll be able to play as Link, Zelda, in addition to the four champions introduced in Breath of the Wild including Daruk, Revali, Mipha, and Urbosa. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will also utilize the same art style as Breath of the Wild providing additional continuity.
You’ll also solve environmental puzzles, craft, unlock weapons and skills, visit shops to get items, and use the Sheikah Slate. Check out the video below:
