The World of Warcraft site has been updated with a first look at the v6.2.0 PTR patch notes. Fans and players will be happy to note that the next update will contain a significant amount of content, something many players felt was missing from 6.1.0.
The Invasion of Tanaan Jungle will begin in v6.2.0, a completely new zone for players to adventure though. The zone will unlock for those with a Level 3 Garrison and who accept the mission called "War Council" that will require the construction of a shipyard. Tanaan will feature daily quests to assist players acquiring shipyard resources. Tanaan will also have open world questing with rares and hidden treasures throughout.
Completion of the shipyard will allow players to construct ships and to send them on naval missions. There is no further information at this time but the team promises much more as development progresses.
A new raid, Hellfire Citadel, will open up in the next update as well. It is located in Tanaan Jungle and will feature thirteen bosses including Kilrogg Deadeye, Gorefiend, reanimated Mannoroth and Archimonde himself.
Mythic dungeoneering will also be part of v6.2.0 that will allow players to pursue an alternative progression path that will reward gear up to iLevel 700. Mythic dungeons will have a weekly lockout similar to raids.
The conclusion of the Legendary Ring quest will also be included in the update, as well as a newly added Adventure Guide that will provide players with information similar to that found in the Dungeon Guide.
There are also some updates to Darkmoon Faire, changes to Spirit of Harmony vendors, new iLevel caps for non-PvP gear, collection additions, mount improvements, skill balance tweaks and more.
Check it all out on the World of Warcraft site.
